Holy cow. 20 pounds of fruit later, I have cherry-stained thumbs, sticky floors and a new appreciation for those women who put up enough food from their gardens to feed their entire family of 10 all winter.
After a day, I only have 10 pints of peaches, nine of brandied cherries and five more of jam. On the other hand, they look pretty with these new labels, don’t you think? Is it sad that while my family appreciates the taste of the food, I just get geeked over the labels?
Labels are available at my Etsy shop: Script and Serifed, Birdy Banner, and Black and White Canning Labels.
They are really lovely!
I think my fave is Script and Serified. Or black and white?
I love making jam and always am determined to make beautiful labels… but then I usually never have time to produce elaborate ones. *sigh*
Thank you! I’m partial to the birds, but you know, I’ve got this thing for whimsical–if that’s what you can call it
And canning? Not my favorite activity, but I’m working it!
